Almost all sessions are scheduled during golden hour before sunset. This can mean leaving early from work or school in the fall, or late bedtimes for littles in the summer. Keep this in mind when booking. Your finished viewing gallery will include all best images from your session. I guarantee a minimum image quantity, however, on average I deliver anywhere from 60-120+ images depending on each individual session. I offer only gorgeous, archival-grade papers that are guaranteed to last for generations. All prints include the addition of a lustre coating on the print surface for extra protection. Almost any size available: wallets and traditional print sizes as well as custom sizes.

Lustre Prints
A mount is an 1/8" sturdy wooden substrate which your print is adhered to. This prevents tearing and warping. It is recommended that you frame a mounted print without glass, which allows you to view your print from any location without glare and also prevents under-glass moisture damage. Once you experience mounted prints, you'll never go back! I highly recommend this option for anything 11x14 and larger.

WHEN WILL I SEE MY PROOFS?
For most sessions, expect to be able to view your proofs online within 3-5 weeks. Sometimes your wait could be longer depending on my seasonal workload. Please be patient as rushing the editing process will affect the quality of your images.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PLACE ORDERS?
Your online proofing gallery will be available for 30 days in which time you should place any and all orders. A reactivation fee of $50 will be required in order to reactivate your online gallery, after your 30 days is passed. Print/Product credits may NOT be used toward reactivation fees. Any credits included with a session will be forfeited if not used within 90 days of gallery publish date.
DO I GET PROOFS WITH MY SESSION FEE?
No, all proof images can be viewed online for 30 days via your gallery. If you would like traditional 4x6 proofs, they may be ordered via the À la Carte menu, or if you would like an entire proof set (1 4x6 of each image), special discounts are available. Just shoot me a message!
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?
I accept credit cards online. Cash and checks may be used under special circumstances.
WHAT IS COPYRIGHT PERMISSIONS?
'Copyright Permissions' gives you permission to print images for personal use. For use on personal web pages, printing for home display, scrapbooks etc. Commercial use is prohibited. Hodge Podge retains any and all rights to the images.
NOTE: High-Resolution images are not included with your session purchase/booking. The additional purchase of a Digital Image Collection+USB will include images and permissions for printing.
WHAT ARE YOUR MILEAGE/TRAVEL FEES?
Sessions located outside of Preston, MO will be assessed a travel fee of $0.80 per mile as determined by the round trip distance between Preston and the session location. Travel beyond 100 miles shall incur a custom charge for travel time and expenses.
WHAT IS A MOUNTING?
Several mounting options are available, but I primarily use masonite mountings: 1/8" substrate which your printed image is adhered onto. This helps prevent tearing, bending etc. It also allows for the use of frames without glass which enables you to view your print without glare. I highly recommend and encourage you to mount any prints 11x14 and larger.
DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
I did have a small, in-home studio, but am in the process of converting a building on our property into a studio. I will primarily use the studio for newborn sessions, senior work or small children, however, my signature style depends on the use of natural light and Mother Nature in most instances. So, the majority of all sessions are shot on location and outdoors. *NOTE: Studio sessions are not available until my new space is finished. TBA
WHEN AND WHERE WILL OUR SESSION BE?
I customize each shoot based on my client. However, I almost always shoot outdoors - in country fields, rolling hills, scenic overviews, deserted buildings etc. Almost always, sessions are scheduled for that 'golden hour' before sunset and 'blue hour' once the sun dips below the horizon. This is when I do my best work and how I achieve the style that is represented in my portfolio.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
ASAP - I am first and foremost a wife and the mother of 3 children, so my appointment availability is limited. I book up to 12 months in advance, especially weekend appointments.
WHAT IF IT'S RAINING?
Beautiful images are dependent upon good weather and good lighting...and keeping my equipment in working condition is dependent upon keeping it DRY. So, sometimes it is necessary to reschedule. I will be in touch with you prior to your session if inclement weather is in the forecast. Note: I avoid cancelling or rescheduling if at all possible. Wind, overcast, clouds are not warranted reasons for rescheduling.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Please, Please, Please do NOT wear matchy matchiNESS!! I love for you to wear coordinating colors and coordinate your styles, just not everyone in the same shirt please :) After booking, I'll send you more specific tips to help guide your selection. Wardrobe choices play an important role in how your finally gallery of images turns out. You’ll have access to my private client closet: my curated collection of beautiful wardrobe pieces for my clients to borrow for their sessions. I am consistently adding to this collection with pieces that offer movement, colors and textures that are fitting to my photography style and aesthetic.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
Most orders are within my possession within 3-5 weeks. If you choose the shipping option, orders are processed more quickly and should arrive at your door via FedEx or UPS within approximately 10 business days. For any orders that require design work, or custom USB's or other additional process, these time estimates could be higher.

WHEN WILL I SEE MY PROOFS?
For most sessions, expect to be able to view your proofs online within 3-5 weeks. Sometimes your wait could be longer depending on my seasonal workload. Please be patient as rushing the editing process will affect the quality of your images.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PLACE ORDERS?
Your online proofing gallery will be available for 30 days in which time you should place any and all orders. A reactivation fee of $50 will be required in order to reactivate your online gallery, after your 30 days is passed. Print/Product credits may NOT be used toward reactivation fees. Any credits included with a session will be forfeited if not used within 90 days of gallery publish date.
DO I GET PROOFS WITH MY SESSION FEE?
No, all proof images can be viewed online for 30 days via your gallery. If you would like traditional 4x6 proofs, they may be ordered via the A la Carte menu, or if you would like an entire proof set (1 4x6 of each image), special discounts are available. Just shoot me a message!
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?
I accept credit cards online. Cash and checks may be used under special circumstances.
WHAT IS COPYRIGHT PERMISSIONS?
'Copyright Permissions' gives you permission to print images for personal use. For use on personal web pages, printing for home display, scrapbooks etc. Commercial use is prohibited. Hodge Podge retains any and all rights to the images.
NOTE: High-Resolution images are not included with your session purchase/booking. The additional purchase of a Digital Image Collection+USB will include images and permissions for printing.
WHAT ARE YOUR MILEAGE/TRAVEL FEES?
Sessions located outside of Preston, MO will be assessed a travel fee of $0.80 per mile as determined by the round trip distance between Preston and the session location. Travel beyond 100 miles shall incur a custom charge for travel time and expenses.
WHAT IS A MOUNTING?
Several mounting options are available, but I primarily use masonite mountings: 1/8" substrate which your printed image is adhered onto. This helps prevent tearing, bending etc. It also allows for the use of frames without glass which enables you to view your print without glare. I highly recommend and encourage you to mount any prints 11x14 and larger.
DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
I did have a small, in-home studio, but am in the process of converting a building on our property into a studio. I will primarily use the studio for newborn sessions, senior work or small children, however, my signature style depends on the use of natural light and Mother Nature in most instances. So, the majority of all sessions are shot on location and outdoors. *NOTE: Studio sessions are not available until my new space is finished. TBA
WHEN AND WHERE WILL OUR SESSION BE?
I customize each shoot based on my client. However, I almost always shoot outdoors - in country fields, rolling hills, scenic overviews, deserted buildings etc. Almost always, sessions are scheduled for that 'golden hour' before sunset and 'blue hour' once the sun dips below the horizon. This is when I do my best work and how I achieve the style that is represented in my portfolio.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
ASAP - I am first and foremost a wife and the mother of 3 children, so my appointment availability is limited. I book up to 12 months in advance, especially weekend appointments.
WHAT IF IT'S RAINING?
Beautiful images are dependent upon good weather and good lighting...and keeping my equipment in working condition is dependent upon keeping it DRY. So, sometimes it is necessary to reschedule. I will be in touch with you prior to your session if inclement weather is in the forecast. Note: I avoid cancelling or rescheduling if at all possible. Wind, overcast, clouds are not warranted reasons for rescheduling.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Please, Please, Please do NOT wear matchy matchiNESS!! I love for you to wear coordinating colors and coordinate your styles, just not everyone in the same shirt please :) After booking, I'll send you more specific tips to help guide your selection. Wardrobe choices play an important role in how your finally gallery of images turns out. You’ll have access to my private client closet: my curated collection of beautiful wardrobe pieces for my clients to borrow for their sessions. I am consistently adding to this collection with pieces that offer movement, colors and textures that are fitting to my photography style and aesthetic.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
Most orders are within my possession within 3-5 weeks. If you choose the shipping option, orders are processed more quickly and should arrive at your door via FedEx or UPS within approximately 10 business days. For any orders that require design work, or custom USB's or other additional process, these time estimates could be higher.
DO YOU SHOOT WEDDINGS?
I shoot elopements and small intimate weddings with 50 or fewer guests. Prices are specific to each client's needs, location etc. (starting at $1600) Email me with inquiries.
